Great location with a view of the Zwischenahner Meer. The fact that you don't get a single cup of coffee is annoying, as is the fact that a sign invites you to pay extra for the toilet.

Such a beautiful location and everything is closed. But I will convince my family to come back and spend a weekend here in town.

Ambience is great, the staff is not really full of charm. Often areas outside (the most beautiful places on the lake) are cordoned off because there is a lack of staff. Annoying when you take an extra 30 minutes drive to sit nicely by the lake, but are fed with the cheap seats further back in the garden ...

Keep it up, the finest ambience inside and outside. Great staff, location on the lake and park. Inside the museum park. Inspired to a pure tour. 👍

Well ... The tarte flambée was overpowered, the staff rather unfriendly and the coffee not really tasty. The cake was good, the location was good and the radiant heaters warm.

The food was very tasty. The price-performance ratio is ok, considering that it is a health resort. Unfortunately the staff was very grumpy and made you feel like you were not welcome with three children (ages 10, 8 & 4). It's a shame. We experienced differently, albeit without children.

I have never seen such unfriendly staff. I don't understand why people don't go there. I never actually write something like that, but that had to be said. I hope that's not in the owner's interest

One star for the drink and one for the look. The waitress had his back to us, no eye contact. Underground and a shame, because otherwise it looked pretty nice there.

The restaurant is beautifully located on the shores of the Zwischenahner Meer. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the lake. We had lunch here, the food is tasty and in ample portions. I found the price normal for a health resort. Very pleasant and friendly, I can recommend it.

First of all, the cakes were delicious and the cocoa was hot. The service, however, was underground. She was really rude and didn't make eye contact. Only after further inquiries did she cover the dishes from our table that were still there from the previous users. When it came to paying (we had to pay 20 minutes before closing time), we gave 2 euros more than the bill gave. Of course we didn't want to tip because of the unfriendly service. The waitress saw this differently and pocketed the money and quickly went back inside. Never again !

Nothing against waiting in a restaurant where there are already a few guests when the weather is nice. But waiting 25 minutes for the unfriendly service to hear that it is not your turn is too much. We then left and will not enter the restaurant again. This restaurant is definitely not recommended. Perhaps one should think about increasing staff

Worst service ever. I waited an hour and never got what I ordered. Also never was offered another drink and it was impossible to wave down our very unfriendly server to ask where my food was or just pay so I could leave. Avoid this place.

A very nice cafe with a nice view of the water. However, we will never visit it again. The food came quickly, but it didn't taste good and was too expensive. The staff was very unfriendly and seemed stressed. We should have read the reviews of the cafe as well as the owner's answers before visiting this shop.

I ordered a cappuccino and a piece of raspberry / yogurt cake. Unfortunately my cappuccino and cake were not served at the same time, my cappuccino came first and the cake a little later. Too bad. However, when the serverigen was ready, I could not say anything but that it tasted good and the place is definitely worth a visit, an incredible view of the lake.

To recommend. Delicious cake and coffee. Fast and good service. The Corona requirements fully met. Will definitely be back.

We wanted to have a cozy coffee and were shown to a table. When we “only” ordered two coffees, people looked at us strangely and asked if we didn't want to eat. Our cups were only half empty when we were asked to pay. Apparently the table is now reserved! Interestingly, it started to rain at the same time and the visitors from the terrace needed a place. We asked ourselves whether we would have been kicked out so roughly if we had ordered something to eat. In the short time, our meal would never have been ready. We only sat there for 20 minutes from order to payment! I absolutely cannot recommend this cafe. Just bad this shop including the service !!!!!

Great ambience and the selection is also consistent. But since we are regulars I have to complain about two things. First of all, the friendliness has decreased enormously and the prices have already increased again. Just one service in the middle of the week is not enough. What a shame...

It is a pity that there are staff who apparently did not understand how to be friendly towards guests. It is also not a problem if the boss is too stingy to employ another service person. The guest can't help it. You can safely do without such gastronomy, especially since there are other good ones. Avoid the shop if you expect friendly staff.

Good service , tasty cake

The cafe / restaurant is very well located. Right on the lake. Nice view. The restaurant was full and unfortunately only 2 waitresses worked. Many guests have complained. We also had to wait a long time. The food was ok. Schnitzel did not taste so good. For the fried potatoes tasted very good. But everything else ok. The prices are a bit high. We may come back.

Fantastic selection of delicious cakes. During our visit there were 14 different cakes and cakes. And these are all made by your own pastry chef. Where else is there such a thing? Everything tastes wonderful. Gentlemen Coppenrath and Wiese should take an example of this. The staff was nice and quick (although the shop was well attended). You also have a nice view over the lake.

Nice and good service, beautiful place.

Very convenient if you're meeting to visit the central windmill.
